New Upscale Restaurant to Bring Elevated Dining Experience to Downtown St. Joseph
Updated: Aug 1
A fresh dining concept focused on elevated cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere is set to join Downtown St. Joseph as local business owners Jeff and Adrienne Waggoner prepare to open revl & co at 513 Francis St.

The Waggoners, who also own The Den, say the new restaurant is designed to fill a gap in the city's dining scene by offering high-q
uality food in a relaxed yet upscale setting.
"Everybody drives to Kansas City for a decent meal, a nice date-night dinner," Jeff Waggoner said. "There's really nowhere in St. Joe unless you go to a Texas Roadhouse or an Olive Garden. There are a lot of people looking for something that's elevated and isn't just the same old Sysco steak and frozen food."
According to Waggoner, the goal is to create a destination where residents can enjoy a unique dining experience without leaving town. The restaurant aims to blend refined cuisine with an approachable atmosphere, making it suitable for everything from special occasions to casual evenings out.
The new restaurant will occupy a historic building at 513 Francis St., a structure originally constructed in 1921 as a bank. Over the past century, the building has housed several businesses as downtown has evolved.
Most recently, the location was home to Provident Brunch House, and before that it served as The Angry Swede. With the arrival of revl & co, the Waggoners hope to add another successful chapter to the building's history while contributing to the continued revitalization of Downtown St. Joseph.
An opening date has not yet been announced, but anticipation is already building among residents eager to see another locally owned restaurant investing in the city's downtown district.
