1 min read

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Monday that Herzog Contracting Corp. will begin overnight paving Sunday, Aug. 2 on Interstate 29 from Pigeon Creek in Buchanan County to the Platte County line.

According to a news release, I-29 will be narrowed to one lane between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. with an 11-foot width restriction in place. MoDOT warns that motorists may expect overnight delays.

The resurfacing project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT asks drivers to buckle up, keep phones down, and slow down and move over in work zones.
