Tim Clark Honored With Key to the City After 35 Years With St. Joseph Police Department
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — A longtime St. Joseph police officer was honored Monday night for more than three decades of service to the city.
During the Sept. 28 St. Joseph City Council meeting, Tim Clark was presented with a Key to the City in recognition of his 35 years of service with the St. Joseph Police Department.

Clark retired from the department on Sept. 18, bringing to a close a career that included several important roles within the agency.
Throughout his 35 years with SJPD, Clark served as a Field Training Officer, Training Manager and Court Marshal, while also mentoring numerous officers during their careers.
His work placed him in a key role in the training and development of officers within the department, in addition to his other responsibilities serving the St. Joseph community.
City officials recognized Clark’s decades of dedication during Monday’s council meeting, marking his retirement and years of service with one of the city’s ceremonial honors.
Clark’s retirement ends a 35-year career with the St. Joseph Police Department and a long record of service to the city and its residents.
