Vehicle Fire Near 8th Street in Downtown St. Joseph Under Investigation
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Authorities are investigating after a truck caught fire Thursday in downtown St. Joseph near 8th Street.
Video of the incident was posted to Facebook by Theoneyoulove Reynolds. A still image from the video shows the truck heavily damaged by fire, with emergency hoses stretched through the area as crews responded.
The fire occurred near Snyder & Associates Engineers and Planners in the downtown area.
At this time, information about what caused the truck to catch fire has not been released.
It is also unclear whether anyone was inside the vehicle when the fire began or whether any injuries were reported.
The circumstances surrounding the fire remain under investigation.
