Mosaic Life Care: Red Rally Will Not Return for 2026 Chiefs Training Camp
Updated: Aug 4
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The annual Red Rally celebration will not take place during the 2026 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp in St. Joseph, according to information first reported by KQ2.
In a statement provided to KQ2 on Wednesday evening, Mosaic Life Care confirmed that the longtime community event will not be held this year.
Mosaic Life Care Vice President of Communications and Community Relations Joey Austin said the decision was driven by scheduling conflicts related to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as other commitments involving the organization's event planning efforts.
Red Rally debuted in 2019 and quickly became a popular kickoff celebration for Chiefs Training Camp, bringing fans together at Civic Center Park with live entertainment, family activities, and appearances connected to the team's arrival in St. Joseph.
This marks only the second time the event has been canceled. The first occurred in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced organizers to call off the celebration.
