Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 36 in St. Joseph
A pedestrian was killed Monday night after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 36 in St. Joseph.

According to the St. Joseph Police Department, officers were called to the area of Highway 36 and Riverside Road at approximately 9:47 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, for a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.
Police said the male pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the St. Joseph Police Department Traffic Unit.
No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the crash or the driver involved has been released.
The roadway, which was temporarily affected by the investigation, has since reopened to traffic.
