St. Joseph Police Searching for Person of Interest After Downtown St. Joseph Disturbance

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The St. Joseph Police Department is searching for a person of interest following a disturbance in downtown St. Joseph Friday afternoon that reportedly involved multiple individuals and the display of a firearm.

According to police, officers were dispatched around 1:55 p.m. Friday, July 31, to the 700 block of Francis Street after receiving reports of a fight involving several people.
When officers arrived, they learned that a firearm had allegedly been displayed during the altercation. No information has been released indicating that any shots were fired or that anyone was injured.
Investigators are actively working to identify and locate a person of interest connected to the incident. Additional details about what led to the disturbance have not yet been released.
