One Person Stabbed During Fight Near 15th and Beattie in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — One person was stabbed during a fight late Monday night in St. Joseph.

According to the St. Joseph Police Department, officers responded to a fight around 11 p.m. in the area of 15th and Beattie streets.

Police said one person was stabbed during the incident. Both individuals involved were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The stabbing victim was listed in stable condition. Law enforcement at the scene described the victim’s injuries as non-life-threatening.

Police said the suspect was later released from the hospital, taken into custody and transported to jail.
