Driver Extricated After Vehicle Goes Off Wall in St. Joseph’s North End

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Emergency crews responded Friday evening to a vehicle crash in St. Joseph’s North End that required the driver to be extricated from the vehicle.

Police, fire and EMS crews were called around 6:45 p.m. to the 4700 block of Tuscany Drive, near the Sinclair gas station off U.S. Highway 169.

When first responders arrived, they found a vehicle on its side after it had gone over the edge of a brick wall.

Crews worked to remove the driver from the vehicle. Authorities said the driver suffered only minor injuries.

St. Joseph police, firefighters and emergency medical personnel were all on scene assisting with the response.

Additional details about what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway were not immediately available.
